News from the Nest April 2010 May 22 Twenty-fifth Anniversary Celebration 10 a.m.-4 p.m.

May 22 Special Class – Bag Tag 3-6 p.m.
Stitch a luggage tag to match your stitching bag! Tag uses three specialty stitches and your choice of three fibers/colors. Stop by to see the model on display in the shop. Pay for the class early and pick your colors and fibers at that time. This class will be taught by our resident needlework expert Patrice Payton. Class is limited to the first 25 to register. Cost $25 (includes all supplies except 7”x8” or 8”x8” Q-snaps or stretcher bars which are available for purchase in the shop)
June 13-15 Columbus Market
New canvases will start arriving in the shop by the end of the month. Come by often to see the newest goodies!
July 11 Blue Stocking Class 2-5 p.m.
Learn three stitches while using some new fibers in this design from Caron Collection. Stop by the shop to see the finished model. Cost $45 (includes all supplies except Q-snaps or stretcher bars which are available for sale in the shop) $25 deposit required to reserve your spot in the class.
August La-D-Da Trunk Show
The show will be in the shop for the whole month. Stop by to see the many wonderful items from this talented designer.
October Canvas Connection Trunk Show Canvas Connection has many small designs which would be excellent for Christmas ornaments including the tote bags for gift cards and miniature golf bags that are just too cute!
Reminder: We are celebrating our 25th anniversary on the 25th of each month by offering 25% off one item that day! There will be a “stitch your stash” gathering on Sunday afternoon, July 25.
